Assist the students to answer these questions:
வாரத்தில் எத்தனை நாட்கள் இருக்கிறது? அது எவை?
நீ எந்தக் கிழமையில் தமிழ் பள்ளிக்கு வருவாய்?
ஒரு வாரத்தில் எத்தனை நாட்கள் பள்ளி விடுமுறை? அது எவை?
நீ செவ்வாய்க்கிழமையில் என்ன செய்வாய்?
(எ.கா: பள்ளிக்கு போறவன், கடைக்கு போறவன்…)பள்ளி விடுமுறை நாட்களில் என்ன செய்வாய்?
ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமைக்கு அடுத்து வரும் கிழமையென்ன? (திங்கட்கிழமை)
திங்கட்கிழமைக்கு அடுத்து வரும் கிழமையென்ன?
செவ்வாய்க்கிழமைக்கு அடுத்து வரும் கிழமையென்ன?
புதன்கிழமைக்கு அடுத்து வரும் கிழமையென்ன?

இந்த கிழமைகளின் பெயர்களை தமிழில் சொல்.
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.இந்த கிழமைகளின் பெயர்களை ஆங்கிலத்தில் சொல்.
ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை, திங்கட்கிழமை, செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை, புதன்கிழமை, வியாழக்கிழமை, வெள்ளிக்கிழமை, சனிக்கிழமைஉனக்குப் பிடித்த கிழமையெது? ஏன்?
➢ Learn the words and their meaning from dictation word list-4 (ஈகார வரிசை)
Dictation word list-4 is given below and also at the front of the handbook.
Write the words & their meaning once in notebook.
Parents, Please guide your kids to pronounce the dictation word and then write it. After writing the word ask them to read the word again to avoid mistakes.
Dictation list :
1)கீரி - mongoose
2)சீனி - sugar
3)தீ - fire
4)மீன் - fish
5)நீலம் - blue color
6)நீளம் - length
(Parents, please make sure that kids understand the sound difference between நீலம் & நீளம்)
Optional: Students can draw pictures for the word.
➢ Project-3-”எனக்குப் பிடித்த வீட்டு விலங்கு”(My favorite pet).
