Re-acquaint உயிர் எழுத்துகள், ஆய்த எழுத்து, மெய் எழுத்துகள், அகரவரிசை, ஆகார வரிசை
Lesson-1 திரும்பப் படித்தல்

Fill in the blanks with the correct உயிர் எழுத்துகள் (vowels), மெய் எழுத்துகள் (consonants), உயிர்மெய் எழுத்துகள் (vowel consonants):

கா, ஙா, சா, _____________, டா, _____________, தா, _____________, பா, மா, _____________, ரா, _____________, வா, _____________, ளா, _____________, னா.

Reading list & Reading log: Please take a print-out of the Reading list & Reading log found at the front of the handbook. Practice reading from the Reading list – Week-1 with correct pronunciation. Fill the details in the reading log, get the parents sign and bring it to school next week, to get a teacher sign.
Write your name in Tamil in first line of handwriting book on first page and do pages-1,2,and only the top part of page-3 in handwriting book (கையெழுத்து பயிற்சி ஏடு).
Conversation: என்னுடைய சொந்த ஊர் (My native place)

Students show a picture of their native place and tell a minimum three sentences related to their native place in Tamil. For example

This can also be an interactive talk between the student and a parent/friend/.... One person asking the question and a student answering in Tamil.

Do the conversation activity and upload it as a video to the teacher before the next week's class.

Supplemental worksheets for practice are attached at the starting of the handbook under printouts.
